She creates pioneering interventions that improve the lives of the most vulnerable people in the UK and globally. As part of her role as Pro-Vice-Provost for South Asia at UCL, she promotes research, education and innovation, whilst also performing an ambassadorial role to further collaboration. In addition, she also addresses non-communicable diseases such as asthma, Down syndrome, epilepsy and mental health. Recognised by the academic community both through the securing of over £30.7m in funding, along with another £37m in matched funding, and through her membership of numerous organisations.
